Exemplifying the allure of the superhero genre in Indian cinema, and propelled by the directorial vision of Prashanth Varma, the movie HanuMan, with Teja Sajja in the pivotal role, has made remarkable strides at the box office. In an impressive display of audience appeal, the film garnered an astounding Rs 12.50 crore on day two post its release. Launched at a time when the festival of Makar Sankranti casts its prosperous spell on cinematic ventures, HanuMan has surmounted the competitive landscape, steering clear through a sea of film choices available at ticket counters.

In the period leading to Makar Sankranti, movie screens have been adorned with a spectrum of South Indian cinematic works, featuring prominent names like Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram and Sivakarthikeyan’s Ayalaan. Furthermore, the multifaceted Sriram Raghavan’s Merry Christmas, starring the talented duo Vijay Sethupathi and Katrina Kaif, has also graced the theaters with its Tamil version, escalating the competition.

The superhero narrative of HanuMan has resonated with audiences, and Teja Sajja has encapsulated this connection with his reflections on the character he portrays. In his own words, Teja shared the profoundness of his character’s journey, from being an undisciplined youth in the mystical lands of Anjanadri to receiving divine gifts from Lord Hanuman which fortify him with incredible abilities. Facing off against formidable adversaries, Teja’s character mirrors the prowess of Lord Hanuman. Presented by RKD Studios and produced by PrimeShow Entertainment, with Venkat Kumar Jetty overseeing as the Line Producer and Kushal Reddy as associate producer, the film is indeed an inspiring and transformative venture according to Teja.
