Motorola has brought exciting news for premium smartphone enthusiasts in India with a significant price reduction on their foldable devices – Moto Razr 40 Ultra and Moto Razr 40. The price slash aims to make these innovative devices more accessible to a wider market. The Moto Razr 40 Ultra, initially priced at Rs 89,999, can now be purchased for Rs 69,999, exhibiting a drop of Rs 20,000. Meanwhile, the Moto Razr 40 is now available at Rs 44,999, down from the original Rs 59,999, making for a Rs 15,000 discount.

The two models offer substantial tech specifications for their new prices. Both feature 8GB RAM and a 256GB storage capacity. The Moto Razr 40 Ultra boasts a 6.9-inch pOLED foldout display with an impressive 165Hz refresh rate along with a 3.6-inch cover display that operates at 144Hz. It runs on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor, and offers a 3,800mAh battery with both wired and wireless charging options. Photographers will appreciate the 12-megapixel main and 13-megapixel ultrawide rear cameras as well as a 32-megapixel front camera.

The Moto Razr 40, on the other hand, features a similar 6.9-inch folding display with a smaller 1.5-inch cover display. It houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 processor, a slightly larger 4,200mAh battery, and a camera setup mirroring that of the higher-end Ultra model, making it a robust option for technology lovers. Both devices step into the market as direct competitors to Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip 4, positioned to shake up the foldable phone segment with their updated pricing and advanced features such as high refresh rates, vibrant display panels, Dolby Atmos-supported speakers, and various connectivity options including NFC, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.3.

The reduced pricing of Motorola’s Razr series opens up the foldable smartphone experience to a broader demographic, offering high-end specs at a more reachable price point. With the intricate details Motorola has embedded into the Razr 40 and 40 Ultra, from display technology to camera capabilities, these devices are positioned to be a compelling choice for consumers eyeing the premium end of the market without the premium price tag.
