As the gates of the Kedarnath Dham open on April 25, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) will begin the online booking of helicopter services for the temple. According to reports, the trial run of the service is expected to be completed by 31 March and the bookings are likely to start from 1 April.
In order to book the helicopter service, pilgrims need to first register at the Uttarakhand Tourism Development Board for visiting the holy shrine of Kedarnath. This can be done through the Tourist Care Uttarakhand App, WhatsApp Facility and mobile number +91 8394833833. The IRCTC heliyatra website will be used for booking the helicopter services for the 2023 Shri Kedarnath Dham Yatra.

The doors of Kedarnath Dham will open on April 25, followed by Badrinath Dham on April 27 and Gangotri Temple on Akshaya Tritiya on April 22.
