In a heart-wrenching road accident, 14 people lost their lives and 21 suffered injuries in the district of Dindori, Madhya Pradesh after a pickup vehicle they were traveling in toppled over. The unhappy event occurred around 1:30 am near Badjar village as the villagers were heading back to Devari village from an event they attended earlier.

According to the police, the cause of the mishap was the driver losing control of the vehicle leading it to overturn. The local community and authorities acted swiftly to provide assistance as the injured were hurried to the Community Health Center. Dindori’s authorities, including the collector and the superintendent of police, were on the scene to offer their support to the victims in this time of need.

Deeply affected by the tragedy, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed his condolences to the families that suffered losses and announced financial aid of Rs 4 lakh per family to those who died in the accident. State minister Sampatiya Uikey was instructed to assess the situation in Dindori. The victims had participated in an event at Amhai Devri village in the Shahpura block before the heartbreaking incident unfolded.
